Why I started Get Dress'd

Hey there! I wanted to give you an overview of why I created Get Dress'd. It all started when I needed a dress for a friend's wedding. I didn't want to risk any online dress rental mishaps, so I looked for local options where I could try on dresses beforehand. Unfortunately, none of the available choices matched the specific look I had in mind, and time was running out.

In a desperate attempt to find a solution, I sent my partner on a dress hunt in town. This experience got me thinking about the idea of having a dress rental place in Hawkes Bay that not only lets you try on dresses before renting but also caters to sizes 14 and above. And that's how Get Dress'd was born!

My vision for Get Dress'd is to create a cozy and welcoming space where women can leisurely try on dresses or simply rent a stunning one. It'll be a place where you can bring your kids along because I understand the challenges of being a mom, and I'll make sure there are toys to keep them entertained. On the other hand, it can also be a peaceful sanctuary for some much-needed "me time," where you can relax and find a dress that makes you feel confident and fabulous.
